Kaleb Ritchie

Since participating in the Minors in Music program , Kaleb Ritchie, bassist, has immersed himself in his alma mater, the University of Memphis where he earned his undergraduate and Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies.

As a music student, Kaleb was a member of the Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band, noted for his stand-out performances during the University of Memphis games. His musical prowess could also be heard with the Germantown Symphony Orchestra, the Delta Symphony Orchestra, and with recording artist SweetNu, just to name a few. For ten plus years, he has been an active member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a diverse fraternity of musical brothers, advancing music in America.

He is currently on staff at the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music as Operations Manager. He was recently honored by faculty and staff with the 2023 Marci Richardson Staff Recognition Award.
