Leonard William Cooper

Since participating in the Minors in Music program, Leonard Cooper was selected as a Gates Millennium Scholar.  He enrolled at Brown University in Providence, RI where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then matriculated in the Master of Science program, where he studied Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry.

While at Brown, Leonard played intramural basketball, was a member of the College Bowl/Quiz Bowl team, the Poker Club, and the eSports team. He also formed the band Interabang, and was its lead guitarist.  He was selected to participate in the Jeopardy! All-Stars Team Tournament where his team won 4th Place.

Leonard is currently a graduate student at Columbia University, in New York, pursuing a Psy D.  He participates in the NYC Trivia League and the Columbia University eSports League.  He is also the lead guitarist for the band NAPPO and performs various weekends at The Bitter End | New York City's Oldest Rock Club on, Bleecker Street in lower Manhattan.
