Monica Montgomery: 1997

Monica Montgomery was our 1997 Porter Scholar. She attended Southern Arkansas University, Fall, 1997.

During her second year in college, she realized there was a big demand for minority teachers. Motivated by this opportunity to make a difference in children's lives, Monica changed her major to Elementary Education with an emphasis in Music.
