PROGRAMS

Minors in Music is a music education program that promotes academic success. The name is a spin-off from The Minor Key, a television show produced by Art Porter Sr. on AETN that showcased talented Arkansans. Minors in Music continues that legacy by providing the same opportunities for aspiring music students. This platform combines workshops, musical and educational relationships with professional musicians and educators, and a community service component to create a customized training program. Music as a community-building tool, ignites an early appreciation for community engagement and understanding that the "art of giving" leads to an enriched and fulfilling life. The transformative power of music impacts young people in a way that empowers, educates and socially connects them universally!
